The sealing element of VCR connector adopts metal gasket. By interlocking the internal and external threads to compress the metal gasket, the deformation of the gasket is caused, thereby achieving a sealing effect. So, do you know the correct installation method for VCR connectors?
The correct installation method for VCR connectors is as follows:
1. Insert the external thread nut and internal thread nut into the VCR connector separately.
2. Weld the VCR connector, which includes both internal and external threaded nuts, onto the tubing.
3. Install metal gasket: If you choose a gasket with support, it is recommended to directly clamp the gasket onto the VCR connector with an external threaded nut (be careful not to scratch the connector end face); If it is an unsupported gasket, the gasket can be directly placed into the VCR connector with an internal threaded nut.
4. Tighten the VCR internal and external thread nuts by hand.
5. Use a fixed wrench to secure the external threaded nut, and insert another fixed wrench into the internal threaded nut and rotate clockwise to install it in place (NI nickel/SS stainless steel gasket locked 1/8 turn, Cu copper material locked 1/4 turn).
6. Use a dust-free oily marker to draw a straight line on the hexagonal heads of the inner and outer nuts for marking.
The VCR connector has a small disassembly gap and can be repeatedly disassembled (reinstallation after disassembly requires replacement of new gaskets). Welding is required between the gland of the VCR connector and the TUBE tube.
